Visual Identity

Restorist is a new kind of company providing personal carbon offsets for flights, ride shares, online shopping, and food delivery. When you buy an offset, your money supports programs designed to reduce emissions. With Restorist, I knew I wanted the wordmark to be simple, straightforward, and have a reference to the natural landscape that they are working to protect. By separating the leaf shape on the 'r' from its stem, I was able to create a simple visual that allowed the 'r' to be used as a mark, while also still maintaining legibility as a logotype. An earthy color palette, paired with the distinctive headline typeface (Clearface) allowed the brand to feel trustworthy, yet approachable for its millennial target audience.
